THE 2019 CRAB FEED HAS BEEN CANCELLED:
We are very disappointed to announce that the 2019 GCA Crab Feed scheduled for February 14-16 is officially cancelled due to the robust winter weather we have been experiencing. Our concern for the safe passage of our members and guests to and from the event is paramount. There are just too many uncertainties over the course of this coming week to continue as planned.
TICKET REFUNDS:
Accordingly, the GCA will offer two options for current ticket holders:
- Avoid the lines, hold on to your ticket for next year’s crab feed
- Return your ticket for a full refund
- If you chose to have your ticket refunded:
You will need to mail your ticket with a self-addressed, stamped envelope by March 31, 2019 to:

Ginni will locate your ticket on the master list. GCA Treasurer Mike Winckoski will send you a check.
IMPORTANT: Checks will generally be issued to the GCA buyer on record. GCA buyers may need to notify persons in their groups about the refund procedure. This notice is only available via email and the Grapevine to GCA members. Only one check will be issued for groups 5 and larger. GCA buyers for these large groups will need to arrange refunding the members of their groups from the check issued in the GCA buyer’s name. If your tickets were purchased by a GCA member, but you have them in hand, you can mail the tickets in a self-addressed, stamped envelope by March 31, 2019 to Ginni Boughal and we will match the numbers with our list to get you your refund. Requests for refunds without a ticket will not be honored. Please be patient, we’ve never had to do this before. Thank you to all the members, guests, volunteers and donators who have supported the GCA Crab Feed this year. We look forward to resuming this great community event again in 2020.

January 2019 Update
TICKET REQUESTS:
There currently is waiting list for Thursday, Friday and Saturday night tickets. Please contact Ginni Boughal at 360-277-9126 for further information on available tickets.
TICKET REFUNDS:
Please remember that tickets may be turned in for a refund prior to February 1, 2019. No refunds after February 1st. If you find that you cannot use your ticket, we will try to connect you with someone on the waiting list. Please contact Ginni Boughal at 360-277-9126 regarding refunds.
VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED:
Volunteer-In-Chief, Val Paulson, reports that we need more crab wranglers (2 Thursday, 1 each Friday & Saturday) and general across the board participation. If you have not signed-up (or would like to sign-up) please give Val a call at 360-275-6764. **Please consider signing up for a volunteer shift during one of the Crab Feed nights. Our volunteers help make this wonderful event run smoothly. You can choose the task or tasks that work best for you and your help will aid in the staffing of the crews for the event. Our volunteers always have a great time serving and taking care of our guests, so don't miss this great volunteer opportunity!.
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION MEETING:
Crab Feed volunteer Orientation Meeting is 7:00 PM, Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Horton Community Center. Please plan to attend.
NOTE: CAMPSTOVES AND/OR OTHER FUEL POWERED BURNERS FOR HEATING BUTTER ARE NOT PERMITTED AT THE CRAB FEED.

November 2018 Update
The GCA Crab Feed is an important fund raiser for our association as the proceeds benefit a number of great causes in our community, Our 2019 Crab Feed promises to be another outstanding "can't miss" GCA Event! Mark you calendars now for the big event: February 14, 15 & 16, 2019 (Thursday, Friday Saturday).
Tickets for the 2019 GCA Crab Feed are only available to GCA Members and will go on sale at 5:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2018 -- prior to our Chili Feed event at the Horton Community Center. Tickets are $35.00 each, with a limit of 20 tickets per person.
Crab Feed Volunteer Opportunity! Please consider signing up for a volunteer shift during one of the Crab Feed nights. Our volunteers help make this wonderful event run smoothly. You can choose the task or tasks that work best for you and your help will aid in the staffing of the crews for the event.
