2020 GCA Water & Art Festival Cancelled
After careful consultation with our GCA Board Members and the Water & Art Festival Committee, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Water & Art Festival, scheduled for July 25th, 2020
The event requires months of planning and preparations by our volunteer members. Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus and the State of Washington “Stay at Home" order, we are unable to begin these efforts and we are unsure of when the order will be lifted, which makes planning efforts even more difficult.
We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold the festival this year, but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.
2020 Water & Art Festival Information
The Grapeview Water & Art Festival is a one-day, outdoor event held the last Saturday of July at beautiful Fair Harbor Marina in Grapeview. Hours: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. This popular event is a wonderful fundraiser for our local charities and student scholarships. The 47 juried booths represent a wide variety of outstanding arts and crafts. We seek to invite artists with professionally and uniquely designed work, created by the artist using quality craftsmanship. The 10’x10’ booth fee is $50.
Our invitation to apply for booth space will be sent to artists the beginning of February. If you are interested in participating in the 2020 festival, your art must be submitted for screening before January 20th. We appreciate as much information as possible regarding your artwork. What is your medium? Do you have images of your work? Do you have a website? Do you exhibit in galleries where we might view your work? Do you participate in summer festivals? Do you have a vendor booth? What is your price point? All information, including a bio and contact information would be most helpful.
